Head of Department – Julian Dewick, BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Wimbledon School of Art in 1991. He followed this with two years teaching at the Montsaye School in Northamptonshire. He gained his PGCE at the Bolton Institute in 1996 and then joined Dover College before becoming Head of Department in January 2009. He works in both disciplines of Art and Design Technology . He is married to Katherine, (who produces ceramics and textiles professionally), and has a son Jack and a daughter Lily. In his spare time he enjoys walking and travelling. Julian Dewick’s specialisms are Fine Art, Photography and Drawing and he is a House Tutor in School House.
Laura Walters, BA (Hons) in Fine and Applied Arts and Music at Canterbury Christ Church University in 2012 and continued her studies at CCCU gaining her PGCE in 2013. Laura joined Dover College in September 2013, and is a House Tutor in Priory House (Year 7&8). In 2015 she also took up the post of Head of Charity Committee, so she co-ordinates all of the school fundraising work. Her specialisms are Fine Art, Photography, Graphic Design, and Textiles.
Sara-Jane Hardy BA (Hons) in Fine Art at University of Essex (specialism in oil painting) Sara-Jane arrived at Dover College in January 2014 and her specialisms are Textiles, Animation and Photography. She is also a House Tutor in St Martin’s House and has a combined Year 9&10 tutor group.
